We would like to congratulate our 2012 Graduates. If you or someone in your family is about to graduate or has recently graduated, please send in their information so we can say congrats!MOVE WITH GRACE ACROSS THE DIOCESE OF MARYLAND
We are gearing up to begin our virtual walk across the diocese on June 3rd, joining Canon Scott Slater on his actual walk across the diocese. To participate, get one of our free pedometers and start counting your steps. Well count through the summer and see how far we’ve walked at the Parish Picnic on September 30th. Canon Slater intends to walk 260 miles from Oakland to Solomon’s Island. If 50 of us walk one mile per day, we’ll arrive at Jerusalem (5,880 mi.) in time for the picnic; if we walk two miles a day, we’ll be able to get home!Details: To contribute your steps, all you have to do is wear a pedometer each day and keep a record of your steps. Pedometers and mileage logs are available free of charge. Or you can open an account with MapMyWalk.com and log your miles on-line or let your smartphone record distance for you. Bring your mileage log with you when you come to church, write your total on the “red paper sneaker,” and drop it in boxes located at the church and parish halls. We’ll combine our mileage and make periodic announcements. Then, at our parish picnic on September 30th, Fr. Taylor will announce just how far our parish family actually made it across our diocese.
Join us June 3 for a kick-off celebration at each service. Wear your Grace tee shirt or your favorite sports gear. Throughout the summer, look for announcements from fellow parishioners who have volunteered to lead special activities that will help us in our spiritual journey and inspire one another through good health and fellowship. While we hope you will start tracking steps June 3, you can join in at any time through the summer. Find information about this parish fun raiser on our church website homepage.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Parish Hall Hostess/Host
Our Parish Hall has become a very busy place! Contributions generated through parish hall rentals help to support the ministry of the parish. But we need help. In order to assure that the parish hall is properly maintained, the Vestry is asking for parishioners to volunteer to be on hand during rentals. This would involve unlocking the hall, being available if the renter has any questions, making sure the renter leaves the hall clear and clean, and locking the hall when they are finished. If you are willing to help with this important ministry, please contact the office: 410-796-3270.EMAIL AND VOICE MESSAGING LISTS: Add your name!

You can also find out more by going to GraceElkridge.org and scrolling down the home page. God will thank you for supporting God’s creation, the church will thankyou for supporting the church and you’ll thank you for doing both!
HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO GIVE TO YOUR CHURCH?
We can always use some help in the office. Know how to work a phone? Know how to fold paper? Know how to stick labels to envelopes? You’re just the person to help in the office. Please let us know if you’re willing to help out in the office periodically. It’s fun and important work! 410-796-3270.
